The picture notations are basically saying that this is the effects of addiction. The afflictions look to be caused by the drug known as desomorphine or better known on the street as krokodil. All in all, it is some bad shit.

It appears to be a compartment syndrome at least on the arm. Caused by swelling in an area that support veery little. Opening the area can allow it to healed while being pressure free. But this man has other problems. Mainly body distortion and body dissection.
