b00, funny you should mention cockroaches. According to the ME's report, the findings are consistent with a few insect bites, but what type of insects remain unknown. Bedbugs are notorious for biting humans and leaving behind scars, similar to mosquito bites. Cockroaches biting humans is extremely rare. I've read the prior post on this, regarding the insect bites. Sensationalists have a tendency to become aggressively morbid when issues like this happen.
