Re: Kittens Removed from Cat During Autopsy & Animal Dissection
The end result of not having enough resources to house and feed animals/pets that never get adopted. In other words, there are simply not enough shelters for long term care of unadopted animals and when the carrying capacity (for lack of a better term) of these shelters are exceeded, the SPCA has no alternative but to euthanize them to prevent overcrowding and unsanitary conditions. Unfortunately, it's a no win situation and I would be hard pressed to think anyone with a conscious would get a preverse pleasure in killing otherwise healthy and vibrant creatures. At least these ones are being used-for the most part anyway-towards something positive. The skinning farms in China are a much different story however and reading about them makes me wonder how in the fuck we haven't turned our own species into billowing clouds of nuclear fallout yet. I will warn you that if what's going on in these pictures bother you, viewing video clips and pics of skinning farms won't be something you'll ever forget. Either way, I agree that this is a shitty means to an end but there are far worse alternatives also. |

Re: Kittens Removed from Cat During Autopsy & Animal Dissection
I once killed 10 opossums with one shot. That thing had nine babies in it.
