Re: Inside a Coffin
Licensed Funeral Director & Embalmer, and former Chief Deputy Coroner here. This is either a fake, not in the U.S., or if in the U.S. some seriously illegal activities are occurring. First off, this is a non sealing casket-there is no way the interior would be that clean. Also, there would be adipocere(aka grave wax) exuding from the person, or leakage. This casket was not available in 1945. The color, hardware, etc. would come until years/decades later. He may have had her placed in this newer type casket, though. If in an above ground mausoleum or in the right conditions, the body may look as it does, it is by no means in any great condition. But, with mummification, clothes would be destroyed. Although, the clothes-like casket-could've been new. As for some of the other posts, the chest could easily look like that, padding could've been added. Those conditions met: a new casket/clothes, person not in the U.S., body in mausoleum/underground in a desert/right conditions for mummification area-this might be real. This just cannot be in the U.S. The Medical Examiner/Coroner depending on state would not have allowed a person the body, it would've been kept somewhere for future burial or cremation-or even resomation state depending. The body would have never been in his possession, unless there illegally. Most likely in this situation a new caretaker would've been put in place, body never being exhumed. If a court order/med. exam/coroner exhumation were to have taken place, either approved storage area, or new immediate burial were to have occurred, or cremation/resomation. If in another country, if the above right conditions met, this might be possible. However, it would HAVE to have again been his illegally. No country would allow for this. There are only few places/instances in the U.S. where a body is kept around for a longer than normal time: waiting for burial in ground frozen areas ex. Alaska, waiting for burial at Arlington Nat'l. Cemetery, waiting due to Med. Exam./Coroner autopsy results and due to a stay from court order. This may be real, it may be a fake. If this is in the U.S., someone PLEASE: contact the State that he might be ins' Medical Examiners/Coroners Association, the State Board of Embalmers and Funeral Directors and Embalmers, AND the Dept. of Health/it's equal. |

Re: Inside a Coffin
I've coined the new words: "necrocest," "necrocestual," and "necrocestious!" Yup, a new genere of sickness... Let's carve up a niche website and start charging people $50 a month for membership! If we need the capital for the startup, we'll just crowdfund it; anyone down? -HDs |
