Re: Indian Autopsy

That's a big brain! I'm surprised it was still in one piece after the barbaric removal of the calvarium.

I hope none of the onlookers are family members.

Re: Indian Autopsy

looks to me like he had died of a brain hemorrhage, or possibly a brain tumor. i'd put my money on brain hemorrhage though.

made me jump like crazy when i saw the chisel out and about, and now i have a headache. imagine that!

Re: Indian Autopsy

This is one of the most ghettoist autopsies that I have ever seen.. Instead of using a hammer an chissel to cut through the skull bone, invest in a vibrating saw... Cuts right through bone like a hot knife through butter...

Re: Indian Autopsy

Did you notice that the mortuary technician had bare feet?
Apart from gloves he wore no protection against any potential infectious diseases. Even the autopsy table seemed to be covered with some kind of cloth that would absorb harmful microbes. No one was wearing masks which would prohibit inhalation of TB or whatever when exposing the lungs. This is how infectious diseases are spread around a mortuary. Makes me cringe when doctors who come from India have this substandard understanding of universal precautions and then try and suceed in setting up practices around the world. God help us all!........This technician would be sacked on the spot if he worked for me or expelled from the most basic courses of pathology. Where do they get their training?.......
A disgusting example of substandard practices.
