I'm from Hungary, here's the story: The kid was a junior basketball player, 192cm tall. The mother ordered an unusally long coffin for her son, but the funeral company made a misstake by producing a short coffin and didn't tell it to the family and broke the dead kid's ankles so the body can fit in the casket. At the funeral the mother saw something suspicius; the coffin is shorter than her son, and opened it, then she saw this... |

Thanks, i was hoping to see someone from Hungary coming to the rescue! Please correct if i'm wrong: the photo was taken by the mother herself, is it correct? From what i understood, there's an ongoing lawsuit.   And there are two parts of a letter (or two letters?), the first one looks to be from the funeral agency, in which they claim to have no responsibility for the damage occurred: perhaps the mother indicated the wrong height of the boy to them? Or they thought it wasn't a problem since the body though the body was supposed to be cremated half an hour after the funeral? Thanks for your help    |

They probably figured that at most funerals all you see of the deceased is from the waist up. The lower part of the coffin quite often is closed.

yes you may,a female friend of mine died unexpectedly...later ruled suicide after autopsy...her insides were in a big bag down by her feet.the bag was sealed and treated with formaldehyde but one of her weird friends insisted on looking to see what shoes they had put on her. she didn't see her friends eternal shoe choice but a bag...guess whoever did the autopsy put all her organs in the bag instead of sewing back up inside her or maybe the embalmer did it that way. |
