How to Restore Fingerprints from Decayed and Dried Fingers
Materials: rubber band, paper cup, electric pot, syringe (20 ml), knife, toothbrush Method: 1. Cover the deceased's finger with gauze soaked in water, secure with a rubber band, and place in a paper cup and soak for 10 to 14 hours. 2. If the finger is severely dry, place it in hot water of 70 to 100℃ for about 2 to 15 seconds, then take it out and inflate it with boiling water using a syringe. The injection needle is slowly inserted diagonally to the center of the index finger, avoiding the bone of the cut surface of the finger. 3. If there is foreign matter on the deceased's finger, rub it with a soft toothbrush and then wash it with running tap water. If the foreign matter is not easily removed, carefully remove it using a blade. 4. If there is a lot of oil on the finger, remove it using a paper towel. 5. Collect fingerprints using ink or powder.
