Examination And Autopsy Of Bullet Wounds To The Head
Shows two inlet wound in the left submandibular region and the lower neck just 2 cm above the suprasternal notch.  Shows a slit like exit wound with a partially protruded bullet in right upper back.  Shows an area over the right shoulder plate where a retained bullet was felt.  Shows chest X ray showing the felt retained bullet and fructure of the right clavicle.  Shows haemorrhages in the left submadibular area and in the substance of the right sternomastoid muscle.  Shows haemorrhage in the right carotid sheath. The big vessels in the carotid sheath were severly damaged.  Shows a bullet injury of the left laryngeal pharynx with a laceration of the right side of the epiglottis and haemorrhages around the right horn of the hyoid bone.  Shows fructure of the right horn of the hyoid bone. Upto my knowledge this may be the first report of a fructure hyoid bone caused by a bullet.  |

Been searching a lot for bullet wound info, especially head and suicide. A bestie shot herself supposedly. Most likely did but I can't help but to think why her husband left her alone, with her baby and a weapon like that, knowing what she was capable of. He left her after another bipolar outburst and his ex said he couldn't see his other kid because of that. Her sister said she put the gun behind her ear, idk if that would mean behind low, like the mastoid process or up higher. Guess it could vary. Never wanted to upset her family by asking a lot. It was weird also that I hadn't spoken to her for about a year when that happened. She did something that mad me mad at her and I pretty much cut my tie. Then one night I said to myself, I miss her and decided to call her the very next morning. And that's when I found out, happened just that previous night. If I felt her I don't remember it much then but I knew she was around when her mother and then father died. Thank goodness she didn't take her kids wither. But is sucks she isn't here to be with them. |

This post has everything: Bullet wounds, a dead guy, gore from the dead guy being cut up, and x-rays of the bullet inside of him. The only thing missing from the experience is shooting him or cutting him up myself!  Kelly, you're the queen of gore! |
