I read an article not that long ago about a dude detoxing from alcohol in hospital and one day the nurses found him drunk in his hospital bed. They couldn't work out how he had got so drunk in hospital. When they changed his bed they found empty bottles of hand sanitizer (you know the ones with alcohol in them) under his matress. Those bottles are like 99% pure alcohol The staff stated they had no idea how he had manged to drink so much as it must have tasted disgusting. But the need to drink and the detoxing itself is sooo horrible a person will do anything to make it stop. They are now considering putting the bottles in something that can be locked but still accessable to staff.

Me too, in autopsies they usually slice them open down the middle n peel the skin back on either side. Must be a reason for doing it this way, I guess.

That is HORRIBLY sad!! People will go to any extreme to quell an addiction!!!
