Swoods posted a short part of this video in another thread. Thanks. It made me search my archive for the full video, which I have had since the days of usenet - five parts or so in rm format, really low quality, but the best you could get with a modem.

Some years ago I found a relatively decent copy in avi, which I post here converted to flv. (That doesn't mean it is HQ - it certainly isn't, and the conversion didn't make it better)

It's dubbed in german, and as Swoods points out, you really don't need the speak. But you might want to know that the speaker says that by female corpses it is essential to look into the vagina - and then you get one of the best vaginal looks in any autopsy video.

Carbonmonoxide - a suicide I guess. The speaker points out some signs on CO-poisoning down the road and at the end concludes that this was the reason.

Great post. It's rare to get this much of an autopsy. Most posts are just parts of one. Good job.

This is not representative of an autopsy today. During the mid to late 20th century exploratory autopsies were performed on just about anyone they got their hands on. Science was in full bloom and data bases needed to be filled with data.

Its obvious she did not die of trauma yet the cut into the limb muscles and the back. They dissected down to the backbone yet did not check the spinal column unless they didn't show it. The dissection of the breast was looking for indication of cancer, typical of the autopsies performed in the latter part of the 20th Century.
