53 Year Old Woman Died After Sob After Mitral Valve Repair
she was discharged from the Hospital and on medication but 25 days later she died after Shortness of breath (SOB).

Here goes, another chance for me to look like an asshole....... That's the mitral valve (aka bicuspid valve) in the heart. Chick had it replaced and died less than a month later from SOB. He's essentially putting his finger in the valve between the left atrium and left ventricle. Not surprising about the SOB, since that's the #2 problem I have the most from my mitral valve prolapse. My main complaint is the arrhythmia I get (fluttery heartbeat)..... that THEN causes the shortness of breath. It makes you gasp for breath, then start coughing. It's pretty fucked up. |
