Re: Will Russia Use Nukes?
Something funny about Putin. The guy is so afraid for his life, he has offices across the country all set up exactly the same so if he does a TV broadcast, people just think he's at his office in the Kremlin. He also doesn't even use the internet, or cell phones. According to one of his defected telecommunications guys. He also said the rumors of his poor health are not true, at least to his knowledge. |

Re: Will Russia Use Nukes?
They know it is lost forever; the US already told them if they have any significant gains this year then the money stops. Biden might try and stretch that, but after that they only thing they have left (aside from terrorist attacks) is pretending that Russia destroyed the nuclear power plant in the hopes of getting money again. Zelensky his handlers will make that call wether you want it or not

Re: Will Russia Use Nukes?
Current wind maps would send nuclear fall out into Moldova, Turkey, Romania. If it was found out Ukraine was involved, that would be the end of any and all Western support forever. Militarily, economically, etc. That's why I say it's incredibly unlikely Ukraine would do that. I don't think Russia would be that stupid either but hey, here we are. |

Re: Will Russia Use Nukes?
Well said. I'm not sure how many times I've said something similar whenever Ukraine is accused of using chemical weapons and now this KNPP dam and alleged chemical plant Russia is reportedly mining to blow up and blame on Ukraine. The same can be said about all the accusations of Ukraine purposely bombing civilians in the Donbas... Ukraine doing anything to jeopardize their achievements in joining NATO/EU or losing all of its support now is highly unlikely and would be existential suicide for them. The exact opposite of what they've been fighting and dying for, for the last 9 years. The only people left to "have them" would be Russia and that is the last thing they want. I also strongly disagree with Faust's notion that the US has told Ukraine that if they make any significant advances that all military aid would stop. The US has its own interests in this war for sure, but claiming they're basically blackmailing Ukraine into prolonging the war is absurd and a cancerous storyline.

Re: Will Russia Use Nukes?
Ukraine constantly does a lot things, like executing Russian civilians in terrorist attacks https://www.nytimes.com/2022/10/05/u...ssination.html , attacking Poland claiming it was Russia https://www.npr.org/2022/11/16/11370...e-from-ukraine blowing up the Nord Stream https://www.washingtonpost.com/natio...kraine-russia/ and so, all those are at the moment at least, not registered with the media covering for them. Even with this: “ accusations of Ukraine purposely bombing civilians in the Donbas” going on for years, with you even opening a thread for showing dead Ukrainian civilians from 2014-2022, that backfired? As you learned that Ukraine itself was bombing them. After you learn this it is not so bad anymore. This has nothing to do with you, but the media you consume. as for “ the US has told Ukraine that if they make any significant advances that all military aid would stop.” : https://euromaidanpress.com/2023/04/...politico-says/ https://www.politico.com/news/2023/0...fense-00093384 Anyway the narrative on ukraine will change, just like it has already changed |

Re: Will Russia Use Nukes?
Ukraine would probably first bomb the plant to the point were it is a near disaster, requiring outside parties and a local cease fire to be negotiated. But the moment Russia has the receipts, they could use nuclear force for sure according to their laws
