Re: Whiskey's Briefing Room IV

In January 2025, the Ukrainian project I Want to Find received a record 8,548 requests from families of missing Russian soldiers, marking a 22% increase compared to the previous month.

"A record number of requests were submitted to the I Want to Find project in January this year. A total of 8,548 applications were received seeking information about missing servicemen of the aggressor state's army."

Since the project’s launch, families of Russian soldiers have filed over 60,000 requests to locate missing servicemen. January saw the highest number of requests ever recorded, with figures continuing to rise steadily.

As of January 2025, 1,790 Russian soldiers have been confirmed as prisoners of war, with 408 of them already exchanged for Ukrainian defenders. However, these figures reflect only cases submitted through the project and do not represent the total number of Russian POWs.

In March 2023, almost 10,000 people from Russia and temporarily occupied territories of Ukraine contacted the project, stating their intention to surrender.

As of May 2024, the project received over 35,000 applications, mostly from serving Russian military personnel, with 260 people already surrendering to Ukraine with the project’s help.

Re: Whiskey's Briefing Room IV

Ukraine's Defense Ministry announced on Feb. 9 the launch of the "Drone Line," a new military initiative aimed at integrating unmanned aerial systems into frontline operations.

The project seeks to enhance combat effectiveness by expanding the use of drones within elite units of the Ground Forces and the State Border Guard Service.

Defense Minister Rustem Umerov described the initiative as a transformative step in modern warfare, emphasizing that unmanned systems will play a central role in combat. "This is the new standard of war, where unmanned systems become a key element of combat, helping our defenders carry out the most complex missions," Umerov said.

The first phase of the project will focus on five elite regiments and brigades: the 20th Separate Regiment "K-2," the 429th Regiment "Achilles," the 427th Regiment "RAROH," the 414th Brigade "Magyar's Birds," and the "Phoenix" Regiment, which is part of the "Pomsta" Brigade. These units have already demonstrated effectiveness in drone warfare and will now see their capabilities significantly scaled up, according to the minister.

By integrating infantry and UAVs into a unified strike system, the Drone Line aims to create a 10-15 kilometer deep kill zone, ensuring that enemy forces cannot move without sustaining heavy losses. "This will fundamentally change battlefield tactics, giving our warriors a decisive advantage," Umerov said in his post on Facebook.

The initiative will also provide constant aerial support for infantry and enhance target detection and destruction before adversaries reach Ukrainian positions.

The Defense Ministry credited President Volodymyr Zelensky for spearheading the initiative and highlighted the ongoing work of Ukraine’s defense industry in advancing drone technology.

Re: Whiskey's Briefing Room IV

The strategy of German arms giant Rheinmetall is to build three military factories in Ukraine, regardless of whether the war continues or not.

This was stated by the head of the German concern Armin Papperger, noting that cooperation with the Ministry of Defense and the Ministry of Industry of Ukraine is developing well. In addition, according to him, the President of Ukraine is actively involved in the decision-making process and contributes to moving forward.

"We are satisfied with the cooperation. The first plant to start operating in Ukraine was a plant for equipment repairs, now a plant for the production of ammunition is being built, and the third plant we would like to build is a plant for the production of anti-aircraft systems," Papperger noted.

He also stressed that Russian missile strikes are not a problem and do not affect production in any way, as they can be prepared for.

The head of Rheinmetall also shared his impressions from his visit to Ukraine:

"What struck me personally was the courage that Ukrainians show, the courage with which they fight. How they resist and, ultimately, fight for their freedom. Yes, for this people it is self-evident. I think no one could believe it when the war began. At first everyone thought: "My God, they will be conquered in two or three months." But no, it turned out to be completely different.

The knowledge of the people in Ukraine and their motivation are also impressive. The Ukrainians who work in my factories are highly motivated, they know what they are doing, and they are very well trained. That is, from a human point of view, Ukraine is certainly winning, despite all the suffering that it is unfortunately experiencing."

Re: Whiskey's Briefing Room IV

In the Kaluga region of the russian federation, an industrial facility caught fire as a result of an attack, and in Volgograd, an oil refinery was hit.
IMO, These are excellent targets as you are attacking the infrastructure that is ultimately supporting the russian war effort & by crippling these targets, you cripple the industrial complexes that the russian people as a whole rely on & they start to feel it more on a day to day basis & in turn become critical of their orc masters & the more of this there is, the more the people start to realize that it's affecting everyone & not just the loan orc soldier or two & with limited manpower / resources that Ukraine has, the more & more infrastructure targets that's taken out by Ukrainian drones, the more pressure is put on the general russian population & hopefully they will start to revolt against their leaders & implode from within.

Oil refineries, public transport systems & train tracks that can move military equipment & aid around, bridges, power plants & electrical substations, communication towers, airport runways both military & civilian should be taken out, water treatment plants & sanitation complexes, dams, steel & metal fabrication complexes should all be considered "High Value" targets & delt with as such.
IMO, if these targets were hit over & over & over you would definitely get some reaction from the russian people who would naturally put pressure on the government & quite possibly start an uprising to end this greedy land grab.

We have seen a bit action with these targets being neutralized, but I think that more can be done to eliminate these high value targets.

Get a few drones that would otherwise be used on single soldiers, into the heart of mother russia & start ramping up efforts to get the russian people to revolt against this dicktaker by taking out these targets as then you would get them, the russian people to sit up & take notice of what's actually happening rather than taking things for granted, that their might poo tin will take care of everything & that he's in control of his 3 day smo when the rest of the world knows that he's not.

I suppose it's easy to state the above & that it's harder to actually do but I'm of the opinion that more can be done by attacking these targets & using the power of the people to put pressure on poo tin for change, to maybe even force his hand to call this totally unnecessary smo off, to withdraw his troops as it's certainly not doing his country any favors by continuing this just for a bit of land as all he has really done is drag his country down & for generations to come the russian people will be paying the price for this totally unnecessary war.

Russia is by far the most hated country atm & that's not likely to change anytime soon, all done by one assholes greed !

Re: Whiskey's Briefing Room IV

On the third anniversary of the full-scale war, on February 24, 2025, the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, General Oleksandr Syrsky, the commander-in-chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, reported that russian troops had lost more than 10,100 tanks, 21,100 armored combat vehicles, and 23,300 artillery systems that were destroyed and damaged during this time.

And according to estimates by the British International Institute for Strategic Studies (IISS), since February 24, 2022, russia has lost about 14,000 tanks, infantry fighting vehicles, and armored personnel carriers (the figures differ from the data of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, since IISS probably only takes into account destroyed equipment.

According to Syrsky, the russian army lost almost 870,000 personnel, including about 250,000 occupiers killed. On February 24, the russian opposition publications Meduza and Mediazon published a joint report in which they used the Russian Registry of Inheritance Cases to estimate that at least 160,000-165,000 russian army servicemen died during the three years of the war

Syrsky previously reported that in 2024 alone, the russian Armed Forces suffered losses of over 434,000 personnel, and the aforementioned russian publications in February 2024 estimated that these losses amounted to at least 66,000-88,000 servicemen during the first two years of the war. This clearly indicates that russia's losses increased significantly in 2024.

russian forces have suffered battlefield losses of vehicles and artillery systems that are unacceptable in the medium and long term, given the limitations of russia's defense-industrial potential, stockpiles of weapons and Soviet-era equipment.

The russian force-building apparatus is struggling to recruit sufficient soldiers to sustain russia's current pace of offensive operations and loss levels,

Re: Whiskey's Briefing Room IV

I cant believe what I watched I am not at all surpised that the guy walked out without signing anything, trumps behaviour in that room shows where he stands on the whole situation. Whilst he clearly wants to avoid ww3 and used it as an excuse I think he could have been a lot more tactful. The guy is in bed with Pootin , America what did you do voting him in. Elon running around with free reign sacking everyone and now this. He obviously wants to prepare for China and Taiwan and the sooner this is out of the way the happier he will be. not realising he will likely then have to deal with China and Russia over that issue.

And telling saying the american tax payer will be reimbursed for paying for ukraine. Not with their minerals they wont. wow.
