Re: Whiskey's Briefing Room IV

Saw this & thought that its worth posting.

The 3 conditions of Trump's peace plan.

Trump's peace proposal for the war in Ukraine includes three conditions.

The aim is to achieve a definitive peace by May 9, a symbolic date for Europe and Russia.

The first of these conditions concerns Ukraine's membership of NATO, one of the main ones being that it renounce its aspiration to become a member of the Atlantic Treaty, an explicit Russian demand.

The second condition is the cessation of hostilities, a clear ceasefire across the whole of Ukraine by April 20, followed by a withdrawal of troops from certain regions, to be detailed. A call between Trump and Putin is expected in February.

Finally, Russia would also benefit from the gradual lifting of sanctions, which would be phased out from the signing of the peace agreement and over the following three years. The movement of goods, money, Russians' residences abroad, their ships, etc. would be freed.

The key date would be May 9: Europe Day and Victory Day in Russia would be the date set for the end of the war, after which Ukraine would have to suspend martial law and military mobilization.

Trump is getting cozy with his pal poo tin with these proposals.

How fucken ludicrous is that, poo tin will rebuild what's left & invade Ukraine again & a blind deaf & dumb person can see that.

Trump expects Zelenskyy to just bend over the desk & be fucked in the ass, LOL.

There's no way he's going to agree to those terms !

Hey Poo Tin & his Bitches, "GO FUCK YOURSELVES" !

An Israeli government official proposed handing over seized Russian-made weapons to Ukraine during an official meeting.

The potential transfer was discussed at a meeting between Israel’s Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Sharren Haskel and Ukraine’s Ambassador to Israel Yevgen Korniychuk.

“It is noted that this initiative would be an important step in recognizing the common threats facing both countries. The Ukrainian side expressed hopes for a positive solution to this issue,” the Embassy of Ukraine in Israel stated in a social media post.

Despite firmly holding to its neutrality about the ongoing war between Ukraine and russia and refusing to give its weapons to Ukraine, neither on its own nor by allowing third countries to hand Israeli-made weapons over, quite possibly there's been a policy shift in this regard lately.

Flight tracking services recorded flights of American aircraft between the Hatzerim air base in Israel and Rzeszow in Poland, a key logistical hub for transferring military provisions to Ukraine. While the purpose of these flights remains unconfirmed, there's been a lobby at the Israeli government level to greenlight the transfer of weapons captured from Hamas and Hezbollah to Ukraine.

Defense Express analysts note this possibility as a pragmatic decision on the part of Israeli authorities because disposal of thousands of military equipment items requires spending a hefty sum of money, whereas sending them as they are to the Ukrainian forces offers a much simpler solution.

Besides, it's a political "revenge" on the russian federation which had supplied much of those arms to terrorists in the first place. It's also a slap in the Kremlin's face after they had officially welcomed Hezbollah leaders in Moscow, and is currently closing ties with iran, a strategic enemy of Israel.

As a matter of fact, russian and iranian weapons are prevalent in the arsenals of Hamas and Hezbollah, as evidenced in the videos released by the IDF featuring caches of captured guns, explosives, vehicles, etc. For instance, during the operation in southern Lebanon alone, more than 85,000 items of Hezbollah weaponry were taken as trophies.

Re: Whiskey's Briefing Room IV

Plus, if there's a cease fire we can go back on our word just like in the middle east and let Ukraine into NATO so we can get involved in the war & make out economy better.

Re: Whiskey's Briefing Room IV

The Institute for the Study of War (ISW) reports that the Russian army's monthly conscription is likely equal to or lower than the number needed to fully replace Russia's monthly losses in the war against Ukraine.

Analysts note that Russian officials continue to justify the Kremlin's decision not to hold forced mibilisation at this time, despite signs that the Russian army is struggling to recruit enough new personnel to replace its high casualties.

Andrei Kartapolov, the head of the State Duma Defence Committee, said on 4 February that Russia does not need to conduct another partial conscription of reservists, as Russia currently has "an advantage on the battlefield".

State Duma Defence Committee member Viktor Sobolev added that 740,000 people have signed contracts to serve in the Russian army – presumably since the start of Russia's full-scale invasion of Ukraine in 2022 – and said that mobilisation would "only worsen the situation" by sending people to the front without prior military experience or specialised skills.

Andrey Krasov, first deputy chairman of the State Duma Defence Committee, also said that mobilisation was not necessary, as Russian military commissars were allegedly successfully recruiting new personnel.

Experts suggest that these Russian Duma members are convinced that Russia's mobilisation figures are sufficient to allay the Russian public's fears about a potentially unpopular new partial involuntary conscription of the reserve.

However, the report adds that the Russian military may have difficulty recruiting enough new soldiers.

"ISW observed reports in late 2024 and January 2025 that the Russian military's monthly recruitment rate is likely equal to or below the quantity needed to replace Russia's monthly casualty rate one-to-one.

ISW also observed reports that select Russian federal subjects are failing to meet their monthly recruitment quotas as citizens are less willing to volunteer to fight."

On 3 February, the Russian Ministry of Defence proposed draft amendments that would change the classification of certain diseases, illnesses, and disorders for military personnel serving in regular service and those who sign conscription contracts.

The Russian Ministry of Defence proposed to reclassify syphilis, hypertension, atrophic disorders of the central nervous system, skin diseases, schizophrenia, psychotic disorders, mood disorders and other health problems as milder illnesses that do not deprive one of the right to serve in the army.

Russian officials continue to justify the Kremlin's decision to not conduct an involuntary reserve call up at this time despite indications that the Russian military is struggling to recruit enough new personnel to replace its high casualties.
Russian occupation authorities continue to discuss Russia's possible illegal annexation of Kharkiv Oblast but claimed that Ukraine's September 2022 counteroffensive in Kharkiv Oblast spoiled Russia's plans to hold a "referendum" in the region at that time.
A significant number of Russian vessels that had been at the Port of Tartus in recent weeks may have left Syria for Russia as Russian-Syrian negotiations about Russia's continued access to its bases in Syria reportedly continue.
Ukrainian naval drone strikes have likely forced Russia to dramatically alter Russian ships' routes between Russia and Syria.
Russia has also reportedly used vessels belonging to the MoD's Oboronlogistika company to monitor NATO vessels in the Baltic Sea.
Russian forces recently advanced near Kupiansk.
A Kremlin-affiliated Russian milblogger claimed that Russian forces on the Siversk front continue to struggle with systemic issues with field commanders filing false progress reports despite recent command changes.

Ukrainian troops had conducted a new series of mechanised attacks in Kursk Oblast and advanced up to 5 km behind the Russian defence line southeast of Sudzha.
In his evening address on 7 February, Zelenskyy stated that the Russian military has once again deployed North Korean soldiers to Kursk Oblast and new assaults are taking place on this front. Hundreds of Russian and North Korean soldiers have been killed, he said.

I'm not missing the big picture of anything as that was a cut & paste of an article that I found online, hence the reason why I stated that "I found this online & thought that it was worth posting" as it's a debatable topic.
