Re: Whiskey's Briefing Room II
"Looks like I know how the convoy was ambushed. China sent thousands of big FPV drones to Ruzzian bastards. The drone company name is Iflight and it is the commercial company that makes FPV drones. Ukrainian drone commander Madyar already called the Ukrainian officials to work with our allies to apply sanctions on the China drone company…" === .

Re: Whiskey's Briefing Room II
=== Yevgeny Prigozhin "surrendered" the scheme of financing "PMC Wagner" from the budget of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation. According to his letter of 06/06/23, more than 147 billion rubles were withdrawn from the budget of the Moscow Region through state contracts to finance the sabotage, terrorist and military activities of the Wagner PMC terrorist organization. The Gulagu.net team in the summer of 2022 exposed the illegal scheme of sending thousands of Russian convicts to war in Ukraine and the involvement of oligarch Yevgeny Prigozhin in this. For more than 15 years, this corrupt official has withdrawn tens of billions of rubles annually from the Russian budget under state contracts, overestimating the cost of goods and services in order to create a margin to finance the activities of Wagner PMC and pay hundreds of millions of rubles in cash to mercenaries as payment for their "services" . With this letter, Prigozhin de facto admitted that the Russian Federation and Putin personally carried out hidden financing and BTG "Wagner" is not a "private military company", but is part of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation and acts on the orders of V. Putin.

Re: Whiskey's Briefing Room II
"It seems Putin is starting to get rid of any remnants of local governance in Russia. On 4th June a meeting was held in the Kremlin that resulted in Putin gaining full control over local Russian authorities - municipalities and mayors. 75 of the 89 existing Russian governors were already directly appointed by the Kremlin. With the new policy, mayors and local municipal councils of towns (and districts in large cities), villages will have no freedom at all. Previously they had some freedom over allocating local budgets and appointing people to key positions. Now it will all be controlled by Sergey Kirienko, first deputy head of Russian Presidential Administration. Anton Vayno, head of Putin's administration, and Sergey Sobyanin, Moscow mayor, will oversee the whole process. Putin probably plans to get to the next presidential elections with a country under his total control, from the lowest level up to the very top"

Update from Deny Davydov. In this video he touches on the Russian convoy in the Energohar area that was ambushed, the Ukrainian convoy that was ambushed involving Bradley and Leopards, the assault involving Humvees on Russian soldiers, Zelenskyy's recent statement about the counteroffensive, Bakhmut and touches on the Russian's claiming to have hundreds of FPV drones from Chinese drone company, iFlight. There are a few other subjects he talks about from the last couple of days from different regions. Most of the materials used in his videos have been published in various threads here over the last two days.

In Zaporizhia oblast, Ukrainians have capitalized on their capture of Neskuchne and conducted several assaults to the south. As a result, Russian forces are retreating further south. #liberated |

Re: Whiskey's Briefing Room II
Just wait for a military application of something like this. Imagine being a soldier having this, tagging a target and it uploads to everyone else's device which they're wearing. You have daylight, night vision and thermal modes. Your friendlies are tagged as friendlies as to avoid friendly fire. In the US Army we had something called "BFT" or "Blue Force Tracker" which was in every one of our vehicles but having this as a wearable device which gives real time information.... Incredible. |

Re: Whiskey's Briefing Room II
By 1 July, all Russian volunteer units on the frontline must sign contracts with the Russian Defence Ministry. However, some volunteers may sign individual contracts either with the units or with the Defence Ministry directly. It should be recalled that the Russian authorities also refer to PMCs, such as Wagner, as "volunteer units". In reality, Shoigu's order may be a consequence of his conflict with Prigozhin and an attempt to take Wagner operatives under his control. |
