Re: Whiskey's Briefing Room II
Zelenskyy arrived in Turkey today to meet with President Erdogan. "The CEO of Baykar, Haluk Bayraktar welcomes President Zelensky to Turkey today He wrote: “Mr. President Zelensky, welcome to friendly country Turkey. I wholeheartedly support your struggle for a just peace and a lasting solution for Ukraine, which is an example to the world.”" "During a joint briefing with President Volodymyr Zelensky, Turkish President Recep Erdogan said that Ukraine deserves to be a NATO member. "Ukraine deserves to be a NATO member. And I want to emphasize one point once again in your presence: no one will lose from the coming of a just peace."" VIDEO: Zelenskyy also visited Slovakia. ""I don't understand where this pro-Russian position comes from, have you ever seen Americans or Europeans switch to Soviet cars or move to live in Russia," — Zelensky during a press conference in Slovakia" #zelenskyy

Re: Whiskey's Briefing Room II
"The Ministry of Defense of Russia sent a military VDK (large amphibious assault ship) to Kerch to unload the Crimean Bridge, in front of which long queues of civilian vehicles have been standing for a long time. And now let's abstract a little. The two countries are at war. In its active phase. Only one country is the aggressor, and the other is defending and liberating the occupied territories (and Crimea is an occupied territory recognized by the UN). And here the aggressor country suits up a "fat" military target (absolutely legal for defeat) to transport civilians. Drives to the occupied territory, which another country liberates. And if we hypothetically assume that something will arrive on such a "means of transporting civilians", all responsibility lies entirely with the Russians. And Ukraine has the means to get there, and the Russians know it. Therefore, in the place of civilians, I would think twice"

Re: Whiskey's Briefing Room II
That’s why they went media with this. So word knew and UA knew that this ship transporting civilians. While it can be the truth, it could be a lie too lol and maybe in reality it’s transporting something else, but if ship will ever get hit, Russians have a civilians story to play) |

Re: Whiskey's Briefing Room II
"Ukrainian units in the area of the liberated settlement of Novodarivka pushed back Russian occupiers in the direction of the still occupied village of Priyutne, for which fierce battles are now taking place. To say more, the situation in our units is much better, it's just that it's not yet time to put it on the map." VIDEO: "Ukraine returned from Turkey the Ukrainian soldiers from "Azovstal ", who were there after the Russian capture - Denys Prokopenko, Svyatoslav Palamar, Serhiy Volynskyi, Oleg Khomenko and Denys Shlega! They are all going home!" Article: Azovstal heroes homeward bound: Freed commanders returning to Ukraine Sat, July 8, 2023 at 12:19 PM EDT Five Ukrainian commanders from the defense of Azovstal are returning home from Russian imposed exile in Turkey, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said in a message on Telegram on July 8. "We are returning home from Turkey and bringing our heroes home," he stated. The president added that Ukrainian soldiers "will finally be with their families.” The Ukrainian defenders returning home are:
Colonel Denys Shleha, commander of the 12th Brigade of the National Guard of Ukraine." The defense of Azovstal Steelworks in the city of Mariupol lasted from March 18 to May 20, 2022. After being unable to defend the ruins of the former plant, the fighters surrendered their positions on the orders of the Ukrainian command and were taken prisoner by Russia. Later, five commanders from the battle were exchanged for 55 Russian service members, on condition that they would be sent to exile in Turkey until the end of the full-scale invasion, and not be allowed to rejoin Ukraine’s combat forces. On July 7, Zelenskyy met with his Turkish counterpart Recep Tayyip Erdogan, and spoke about prisoner-of-war policies between the two nations. Of course, Russians are upset. #zelenskyy

Re: Whiskey's Briefing Room II
"When the full-scale Russian invasion began, the Ukrainian army was several times smaller than the Russian one. That is why Ukraine was predicted to lose quickly: analysts counted the number of people and weapons, but could not consider fighting spirit, desire to defend own country, command skills. This cannot be translated into the language of mathematics." There is a huge NATO summit in Vilnius, Lithuania next week that is supposed to be a pretty big deal in regard to Ukraine joining NATO. Zelenskyy will be attending in person. "NATO countries are strengthening Lithuania's defense for the duration of the Vilnius summit on July 11-12. A thousand troops have been deployed to the country to reinforce the border, Patriot and NASAMS air defense systems, aircraft, Caesar self-propelled howitzers, and more. As Vilnius is located 32 km from Belarus, Patriot was installed in the city itself."

Re: Whiskey's Briefing Room II
"Volodymyr Zelenskyy arrived in Lviv for a prayer service to mark 500 days of full-scale invasion" 2nd video: "Zelensky left the square after the prayer service. He did not speak. The commanders of the Mariupol defenders were not on the square." They were in Lviv but not at the square. Not sure why. EDIT Added two more videos of him arriving in at the square in Lviv and the last is of him speaking, as well as Denys Prokopenko just before Zelenskyy went to the square. Translation is rough but gives you and idea. #zelenskyy
