Heckler & Ko Another thing that I would like to mention is the fact that it was a Team 6 guy with a HK416 who double tapped Osama Bin Laden way back in 2011 so it defiantly has it's fans. |

"Ukrainian Armed Forces are trying to gain a foothold on the left bank of the Dnipro near Kherson - British Intelligence Analysts note that since June 23, Ukrainian forces have almost certainly begun to move to the left bank of the Dnipro near Antonivskyi Bridge. On June 27, fighting on the left bank intensified. The Institute for the Study of War also reported that there may be about 70 Ukrainian defenders on the left bank under the eastern span of the Antonivskyi Bridge and that the Russians are not able to drive them out."

Re: Whiskey's Briefing Room II
HK416 (gas piston system) is a fantastic weapon, it is what the original AR/M16 pattern rifles should have been. The modern gas piston models are great especially for longevity, low maintenance and use with suppressors. When I shoot my direct impingement AR-15 (older fashioned 90's Bushmaster) with a suppressor I get a noticeable "puff" of gas off to the right side of my face when firing, on my gas piston AR-15 there is zero puff. HK 416's are in regular use with SOF guys and many US law enforcement agencies (the latter don't deserve them |

"New units of Ruzzian troops arrive in the temporarily occupied Melitopol and Henichesk. The Ruzzian army is also moving its equipment towards the Zaporizhzhia region through the Arabatsky land line…" "CIA Director William Burns secretly visited Kyiv, and Ukraine shared with him its plans for liberating the territories, The Washington Post reports. The plans include regaining significant territory by the fall, moving artillery and missile systems to the border with Crimea, and moving further east - and then negotiating with Russia. In an ideal scenario, the Defense Forces would gain leverage over Russia by taking Crimea, where the Russian Black Sea Fleet is based, "hostage." The Washington Post writes that the United States agrees that Ukraine should start negotiations from a strong position." "Spain is allocating a new aid package to Ukraine worth €55 million, Prime Minister Pedro Sanchez announced from the rostrum of the Verkhovna Rada. He promised to support Ukraine "for as long as it takes" and "no matter what the price is."" AND "Spain will soon provide Ukraine with 4 additional Leopard tanks, armored personnel carriers and a mobile field hospital, Prime Minister Pedro Sanchez said." AND "Spain becomes 21st country to support Ukraine's NATO membership - Zelensky"

"Lukashenko signs law banning media from "unfriendly" countries in Belarus The law provides for the possibility of imposing a ban on the activities of foreign media in the territory of the Republic of Belarus in case of unfriendly actions by foreign states against Belarusian media. The law also expands the list of grounds for revoking a media outlet's state registration certificate and restricting access to an Internet resource, online publication, or news aggregator." "“Do not repeat the mistake Chancellor Merkel made in Bucharest in 2008 when she fiercely opposed any progress towards Ukraine’s NATO membership” Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba said in an interview with BILD"

Re: Whiskey's Briefing Room II
"After the Russians destroyed the Kakhovka Reservoir, an ancient oak boat was discovered in Zaporizhzhia. Its age may exceed a thousand years" ""We cannot set our soldiers to their deaths not to upset our partners," - @ZelenskyyUa said. Zelenskyi responded to questions by Spanish journalists about a specific date for more tangible changes at the front. And here are some more of his statements for the Spanish newspaper El Mundo: ▪️ "We know that the Russian Federation has plans to cause a leak of radioactive substances at the ZPP." ▪️ "Putin is now being threatened more than me. There are more people who want to kill him". ▪️ "As Prikhozhin's rebellion has shown, Russia is weak and out of control." ▪️ "The Armed Forces of Ukraine destroyed the most motivated part of the Russian troops: 21,000 Wagner PMC fighters. Another 80,000 mercenaries were wounded." ▪️ "If today we had the artillery that we requested in the required quantity, the processes on the battlefield would go much faster". ▪️ "NATO would not be complete without Ukraine. The Alliance's models and strategies have already been tested in Ukraine in a real military environment.""
