Leopard 1A4 and 1A5 tank training started in Klietz, Germany. A danish-german cooperation to train UKR crews for the old Leopard 2 pedecessor. Not as powerful as the Leopard 2, but there are hundrets aviable in certain depots. Germany plans to reactivate 178 of these until end of this year. They have to be overhauled and get a slight modernization. Of these, 80 Leopard 1A5 are planned to be delivered until summer. Denmark plans to deliver 100 Leopard 1A4's from their depots, nothing known about the time frame.  ·  ·  ·  ·  · |

A couple of days after I posted the above, president of South Africa, Ramphosia, stated that reports of South Africa's withdrawal from the International Criminal Court were false. It's now being reported that he is now encouraging Putin to attend the BRICS summit in August via Zoom from Moscow. He was quoted as saying that Putin cannot "come here and not be arrested".

"Ukraine returned from captivity 42 defenders and three defenders of "Azovstal" As reported in the OP, among them is a military man who was in Russian captivity for 2.5 years before the full-scale invasion, where he got during the Shirokyn operation. At the same time, the Russian Ministry of Defense reported the return of three pilots to the Russian Federation."
