The armored vehicle was based on the Leopard 2 tank, and it itself is designed to evacuate damaged armored vehicles from the battlefield (in fact, we are talking about the NATO version of the BREM). A Consortium of nine NATO allies is chartering up to five Antonov An-124 Ruslan aircraft from Antonov Logistics Salis (Antonov Airlines). A single Antonov An-124 can carry up to 120 tons of cargo. Contract provides assured access to two Antonov An-124 aircraft on 72 hours’ notice, access to an additional aircraft on six days’ notice, and two additional An-124 aircraft subject to availability. The consortium consists of nine NATO Allies: Belgium, Czechia, France, Germany, Hungary, Norway, Poland, Slovakia and Slovenia. The Antonov An-124 Ruslan (Ukrainian: Ан-124 Руслан; Russian: Антонов Ан-124 Руслан, lit. 'Ruslan'; NATO reporting name: Condor) is a large, strategic airlift, four-engined aircraft that was designed in the 1980s by the Antonov design bureau in the Ukrainian SSR, then part of the Soviet Union (USSR). The An-124 is the world's 2nd heaviest gross weight production cargo airplane and heaviest operating cargo aircraft, behind the destroyed one-off Antonov An-225 Mriya (a greatly enlarged design based on the An-124) and the Boeing 747-8. The An-124 remains the largest military transport aircraft in service. Weird limp that doesn't show in the other vids of him plus people mentioning this person is wearing a putin mask. |

1. "The Italian Ministry of Defense confirmed that 20 Ukrainian soldiers were trained at a military base in the municipality of Sabaudia. They were training to use the SAMP-T air defense system. Ukrainian soldiers were forbidden to leave the barracks and Italian soldiers were forbidden to communicate with them. Another part of the Ukrainian military visited an infantry school in the municipality of Cesano to test armored vehicles."  2. "On March 18, an emergency occurred at the 169th Desna training center named after Prince Yaroslav the Wise (Chernihiv region), killing four soldiers. It is not known what exactly happened; the training center says that the SBI is conducting an internal investigation."

 Just found this... source asking if it looks like he takes off a mask. Who knows at this point but I don't imagine he would rip a mask off outside in the middle of a photo op.
