Re: US Mega-bomb Strike Against ISIS Targets in Afghanistan
On 13 April 2017, a MOAB was dropped on an ISIL-Khorasan cave complex in Achin District, Nangarhar Province, Afghanistan. It was the first combat use of the bomb. A spokesman for the Afghan Defense Ministry said that 36 ISIL fighters were killed, while a spokesman for the provincial governor's office said that 82 were killed. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/GBU-43...ance_Air_Blast |

I live right near where they tested em on Eglin. They broke windows and set car alarms off at about 20 miles away. HUGE boom.

Re: US Mega-bomb Strike Against ISIS Targets in Afghanistan
Only 36 fighters killed...or 82 depending on which source you believe?! Shame. There's still an awful lot of them left to kill. |
