Ukrainian BMP hits Mine after fording a small river,

An AFU BRDM, intending to cross a river, struck a mine. The remains of the BRDM overturned and was thrown into the water.
Two Ukrainian soldiers were killed as a result of the explosion. Source Donbas Yasynuvata in the line of fire

can i put a general request out there, i remember in 2001 there was a video of a BMP with guys on top going slowly down a road and then a IED blows it up and the guys come raining down in parts.

Ughh, few failed attempts in uploading.. nevermind..


Was in Donbass/Ukrain somewhere. Lost the story that accompanies the footage.

But basically they get under fire of two sides and get some losses to endure and end up in retreating in Gaos

Its a BRDM-2 and as they are amphibious the armours ballistic protection is not the highest....further the mine survivability is hindered by the wheel stations being so close below the crew compartment
