Which, until Europe got involved, were mainly small local affairs. European weapons, European's rapacious desire for African commodities, and let's not forget the need for slaves, to make America a going concern all conspired to make the Africa of today. Local affairs? They wages wars for centuries that covered entire regions of africa. Europeans brought much of what africans use today: medicine, electricity, modern transportation in all forms, many other positive things. africans SOLD THEMSELVES into slavery.. no White Men went to africa demanding them to get on boats.
