The battle of Khasham in February 2018 is one of the only recent confrontation of Russian (Wagner) led forces against U.s forces.



About 500 troops of pro-syrian and Wagner With artillery and around 25 tanks attack a small American outpost guarded only by 40 U.S soldiers.

After Confirming no actual russian soldiers presence. The U.S called in their airpower. Ac-130, reaper drones, F-22, F-15 and more.

The battle lasted for about 4 hours.

Result? U.S successfully repelled the attack.

Loses. On the Russian side. At least 55 dead and 200 wounded. All but 1 tank were destroyed. On the U.S side... wait for it.... ONE WOUNDED. Just a single Syrian Democratic Force soldier wounded, no material loses.

In Ukraine, our leftovers old techs and some change money is literally helping the poorest country in Europe to hold out against Russia.

In direct conflict. Russian force are basically just a bill for ammunitions on the U.S side. People delusional enough to still believe Russia is onto something, need their bullshit be slapped out of them. Russian are only a threat to themselves.

Yes but it's also a way for the Russian state to deny accountability. Wagner are not Russia troups while being Russian assets. They can do terrorism, steal properties in foreign countries and Putin can just be like "mmmh bad felas, not our guys!! maybe we'll talk to them about it"

Wagner was never an official part of the Russian military, and it never possessed advanced weapons or training. It was mostly made up of ex-prisoners fighting for money against whoever they were sent - hardly representative of Russia’s full armed forces.

I sincerely hope we never witness a direct U.S. vs. Russian battle, because that would mean WW3. And while some argue that Russia is weak, the bigger picture is that China is rising as a superpower and presents a strategic challenge not just for the U.S., but for Russia as well.

This just mean you're missing the point of what Wagner was. This kind of private military companies are officially not part of Russia forces, not because the kremlin doesn't need or use them, but because it grants them deniability. This way they can act like assholes, disturb democratic process in emerging economies, steal resources and even try a go at an American base while Putin can just say "it's not us, it's the Wagner guys, maybe we'll talk to them about it when they come home"

"it never possessed advanced weapons or training" the whole Russia army never possessed advanced weapons or training. Russia struggles to defeat the poorest country in Europe, They lost over 1.3 millions people in 3 years, The U.S lost less then 2500 troops in 20 years of Afghanistan.

If we could make a deal with the devil and remove nukes from a war between Russia and the U.S, The U.S would have air dominance in less then a week and Putin would have to hide in the deepest bunker he has and never ever get out, but even there, he would likely get killed or sealed inside forever while all of his command structure get kill one after the other while being able to do nothing against it.

China steal everything they build as a military, which i personally see as a compliment, not a threat.
