If you know that you are wanted dead and you decide to equip yourself with a weapon, you better make it worthwile, and arm yourself with an oozie or semi-automatic, perhaps an AK-47. Otherwise it serves you no good to carry a weapon. I would have had an AK.

remember seeing this back in 89 during my NI training, still bothers me, the version filmed from the helicopter was even more upsetting, and to think right at the end he had to have a catholic cross on his lips, final insult, dirty filthy fenian taig bog hopping bastards, fucking scum

I live in Northern Ireland. My Dad was in the (Police) RUC Special Branch HMSU during the troubles. Basically it was a unit tasked by the government and trained by the SAS over in England to combat the IRA with firepower and survailence. It worked very well. G3's and Browning High Powers in unmarked armoured police cars. Basically what they did was find out an area using survailence when IRA activity was high, drive down there fully armed and open fire on the suspects. Luckily the suspects 99 percent of the time carry a weapon so it could be described as self defence to the news. I have pictures of two (Police) RUC cars at either end of a street blocking the road and open firing on three IRA vehicles. Two vehicles caught on fire and the occupants were burned to death and the third driver got a 7.62 in the head as he crawled on the floor. Dad said the guys head peeled open like a can. So the moral of the story is in this video the IRA probably thought something similar to this was about to happen. Which is clearly wasnt as there was too many civilians and news crews about to mount an operation. So basically the IRA terrorist group were just pissed off the the RUC (Police) had killed one of there murders bastards that planted a bomb in East Belfast which killed civilian. 1. The two guys in this video were not in an armoured car 2. They did not have heavy weapons..just a service pistol 3. They stopped reversing the car as not to injure anybody 4. They did not shoot as they didnt want to harm anyone They shown mercy to other human beings. This is what defines a person. On the otherhand the IRA have no mercy and this is what defines a murdering inhumane group of terrorists. Protestant or Catholic it does not matter for religion. Its simply a bunch of guys bored and think they are hard that are living in the past. PS - To any Americans that contribute to the IRA's finances i beg you to stop as Northern Ireland is moving on. And these people are not Irish freedom fighters, they are terrorists....just like the ones that flew into your world trade centre. Instead these guys shooting innocent police officers and plant bombs under cars. Need to be stopped. I say bring back the RUC and the G3's and head down to south armagh to finish these cunts off forever but unfortunatly someone will take there place as children grow up with hatred for no reason :( Is very sad  |
