Re: Soldier Shot in Afghanistan
America (USA) is the source of pain and bloodshed all over the world for last 60+ years, but it doesnt give me anything but pain to see young soldiers paying for the gains of few international power houses.

Re: Soldier Shot in Afghanistan
Sorry for necro but I finally found this video after so many years. It's known as the "Arenas Ambush", they all knew they were going to be hit hard and knew that the village elders from Arenas were setting them up but the platoon leader, 1st Lt. Matthew Ferrara (killed in this ambush), decided to go anyways. 6 US soldiers were killed, Kyle White was awarded the Medal of Honor. The cameraman is near the end of the column. The Afghan squad ran away, or played dead which you can see in the beginning and at 3:40 one is getting shot. The soldier to his right was Marine advisor Sgt. Phillip Bocks who got hit in the right shoulder. He fell down out of screen to where White was and White dragged him to a tree, but Bocks later bled out because it took 8 hours for evacs to arrive. The soldier at 6:05 is Army Cpl. Sean Langevin. A sniper got him in the head and he sprawled to the bottom of the valley. The rest are dead Afghan soldiers (or pretending to be dead). |
