Re: Russian/Ukraine War Discussion Thread V
no war is one sided. there are no "good guys" in this conflict. or in pretty much any conflict. unlike the Marvel movies would have you believe

Re: Russian/Ukraine War Discussion Thread V
You forgot to mention why Ukraine was hitting the dam in the first place. Not to destroy it but remove it from being used for resupply. Russians had to repair it at least 2 or 3 times if memory serves. I disagree strongly that Ukraine stands to gain more by the dam's destruction. This is Russia we're talking about - logic doesn't apply so I'm not sure why you're approaching it like this. They've shown on multiple occasions that they value senseless destruction, scorched earth and intimidation over everything else. When the water levels get lower east of the destroyed dam, the nuclear reactors at Energodar will be at risk of overheating. Which might be what Russia wants as they shelled their own there last year and comically tried to blame Ukraine for trying to start a radiological disaster. Artillery trajectories and one unexploded shell proved it. This is fully in Russia's playbook - do something awful and blame the other side. Then repair the dam and look like the heroes and pat themselves on the back on RT and Novaya Gazeta. Were you alive during the second Chechen war? Never believe anything until the Kremlin denies it. |

♣ Crimea without water. ♣ ZNPP without cooling. ♣ Most of the flooded area is under Russian control. ♣ All fortifications build by RF are now damaged. |

Re: Russian/Ukraine War Discussion Thread V
Crimea without water - seems like a good convenient reason to leave Crimea if you already know you're going to leave it to Ukraine. Scorched earth policy is well used by Russia. ZNPP without cooling - Russia shelled this nuclear power plant last year and tried to blame Ukraine. Clearly the safety of the area is not of their concern. Russia doesn't care about the areas it has flooded - this makes it harder for Ukraine to cross the Dnipro and land significant forces for attack into Crimea. As for your fourth point, refer to my third point. |

Re: Russian/Ukraine War Discussion Thread V
i am Ukrainian. i think about this topic plenty. Zelenskiy was paid to dance naked at private parties for Russia's elite like he did on public TV before he became president. Russian elites, Putin included are Satan worshiping pedos. this whole scheme is intertwined and messy beyond comprehension. I can definitely go more in-depth about how there's no "good guys" here... |

Agree. Ukraine shelling in the Donbass, any air defence missiles that cause damage from shooting Russian missiles, this destruction. If there is now war by Russia to take territory none of this would be happening. They are definitely responsible for it and there is more and more evidence of that coming out by the minute. Re: Russian/Ukraine War Discussion Thread V
It is still under RU control. Last year (and still today) Russia was trying pretty hard to scare the world into not giving Ukraine military aid. When ZNPP (nuclear plant) got shelled Russia instantly starting saying it was Ukraine. But there's quite a bit of evidence that suggests Russia shelled it so they could blame Ukraine, so people would stop helping them. This tactic has been used by Russia in the past.
