Russia has made threats of invading Poland after they "take" Ukraine. A majority of the Polish population will buddy up with Ukraine (and the West, as they are a NATO country) all day every day and twice on Sunday, versus become "friends" with Russia. That hasn't exactly worked out for them so well in the past.

I'm sure that like most countries, there is a fringe pro-Russian population who wants to reform back to "the good ole days" of the Soviet Era and attempt to achieve world domination... but the rest of Poland, along with their allies aren't going to let that happen.

It's a choice between the lesser of two evils, I suppose.

Duda's hugs to Zelenskyy say they forgive Ukraine for whatever they've done. Their military aid to Ukraine guarantees it.
