Asked on Monday whether he considered the counteroffensive a failure so far, U.S. Gen. Mark Milley, chair of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, said, “it is far from a failure. I think that it’s way too early to make that kind of call,” Reuters reported. “I think there’s a lot of fighting left to go and I’ll stay with what we said before: This is going to be long. It’s going be hard. It’s going to be bloody.” |

Again Faust, the subject of the counteroffensive has nothing to do with mobilization, protest or sabotage. I already moved your first derailing post to the proper thread (which I answered and you obviously didn't see before it got moved) and now I will remove the rest of this to the discussion thread. Talk to kellyhound about getting unbanned from the other threads if you want to be a part of these kinds of conversations. Otherwise, keep it on topic.

Thanks though near the end, the bolded part was regarded as Russian misinformation when I said it. Anyway kellyhound can I be unbanned from the discussion thread? It is like a black hole where my posts sometime get too close to.  I like to think you guys are arguing from beyond the event horizon, but it would be interesting to see what your consensus is, especially now that more and more people are getting to terms with the endgame (myself included)

It's regarded as conjecture. Both in the article and when you said it. Anytime anyone says anything about something in the future where the outcome is uncertain, it's conjecture. That's my point. When you take conjecture you see like this and state things as fact, as you do, that's when it becomes misinformation. Like saying Zelenskyy is now saying the counteroffensive has failed. I'm sure somewhere you read something where he may expressed something that you took as such... perhaps he said something about the counteroffensive being less effective without proper air power. You tend to take things like that, run with them turning them into something they are not without having anything else to back you up. No one knows what's going to happen. Not you, not me, not Blinken, Zelenskyy, Putin, NYT, etc. It may very well fail. It may not but there is not one person in the universe who can say for sure how it will go. How about we all cross those bridges when and if we come to them? For what it's worth, I hope KH lets you back into the threads you're banned from. If only so I don't have to keep moving stuff. EDIT: this and related messages will be moving to the discussion thread in less than an hour. lol
