There is no intention for Russia to show real footage as it only has downside for them. They want this to look like a clean and light operation to denazify Ukraine from the bad.

There is a big Telegram channel but it’s mostly just propaganda stuff how great the Russians are doing, so not really showing casualties. Check the below post from the channel and you get the idea. If this is what they show in Russia on TV as well then no wonder there are hardly protests in the millions.
