It would be a fantastic place for using a telescope right now. No light pollution at all for hundreds of miles Must be a beautiful site at night looking up at the sky.

Re: Russian/Ukraine War Discussion Thread III

Moscow complains about the aggressive behavior of the Ukrainian military

After a meeting with Turkish officials in Istanbul, Deputy Foreign Minister Rashka said that Ukraine and the United States are trying to derail possible peace talks:

"We tried to provide Turkey with detailed information about the real situation on the ground, emphasizing the totally aggressive behavior of the Armed Forces and their attacks on the civilian population in Donbas and other regions of Russia"

A multinational group of soldiers from NATO allied countries sing 'Carol of the Bells', a holiday classic composed by Ukrainian composer Mykola Leontovych and lyrics by Peter J. Wilhousky, in a snowy forest in Latvia.

Re: Russian/Ukraine War Discussion Thread III

This war won't end the way many supporters in the West think it will. In time, Zelensky will be overthrown/killed like Gaddafi in Libya and Saddam Hussein in Iraq. How many dictators did we install in countries that we fostered proxy wars in? A lot. I don't trust those Azov Nazis since they have Zelensky by the balls.

The history of the Minsk Accords is a good starting point to see why this unfolded the way it did.
Agreed.

Especially after recent Merkel speech where she said that Minsk agreement was never about peace, Rather gave Ukraine and West time to prepare Ukraine for bloody war .

No. Poor comparison comparing Zelenskiy to those guys.

And also, no. The "Nazis" hold very little if no power in Ukrainian politics. Not sure what you're reading. The only reason why these couple brigades are allowed to exist is because they're good experienced fighters.

Project Ukraine is great business for politicians in the West, military contractors, and other unscrupulous folks that pushed for war and want it to continue indefinitely. The Russians are going to grind and grind and are going to just destroy the place. The country is being raped by Russia and the West and the tragedy is, it didn't have to come to this by either Ukraine or Russia. The history of the Minsk Accords is a good starting point to see why this unfolded the way it did.
You're late to the show and a dollar short.

They already destroyed the place, and corporations/people/politicians profiting from war has literally been a thing as old as humanity. That doesn't mean we shouldn't help a country that was wrongly invaded. The fact that people profit from war matters little. Maybe Russia shouldn't have attempted to install a puppet and later invaded when he got thrown out
