Re: Russian/Ukraine War Discussion Thread II
So you are implying that the Ukrainian culture is to blame here? War crimes beget more war crimes. There are much less when there is no war to hide behind. I think you already know this and are messing with Wondermomma... We can run the blame game back a few hundred years at least. |

Damnit Miles unban yourself and pull it together man. I was searching for Kupyansk+bodies+pit and that popped up. Good timing with Duntez asking about brutality in the region.

Re: Russian/Ukraine War Discussion Thread II
No, nothing to do with the culture. Rather is there even an option on a table that behind some atrocities could stand Ukrs, or there is only one option - all atrocities are done by Rus and Ukrs would never kill their own citizens.

Re: Russian/Ukraine War Discussion Thread II
To find that out we need the war to stop so normal life can begin. There are still murderers and criminals in the Ukraine civilian and military populations. That is normal for humans. Is the government killing it's own citizens for photo-ops? Again we are kinda going to need the war to stop to figure that out really. I would doubt it though, the risk that would pose to general morale is too high. And even to get a small unit of soldiers that went rouge and decided it was a good idea seems unlikely. Individual dill war crimes against pro-russians is highly likely though depending on circumstances. Especially as the war goes on. That would be those as yet unidentified criminals seizing moments of opportunities. The ukraine command structure would of course be getting better at stopping this as the war went on as well.

Re: Russian/Ukraine War Discussion Thread II
what do you mean? I've already noveled you a million times in here. I've been anything but silent. You know how I feel overall so I feel like it was asked and answered. EDIT: I see no point in any further discussion or debate with you or Faust. You're not going to change your perspective and neither am I. "Let sleeping dogs lie"

Re: Russian/Ukraine War Discussion Thread II
There was a post in the media thread with about 8 videos from the Kyiv shelling too that is now missing. I sent a pm to Kelly about it but if any other mod sees this who may know what happened to it, please let me know? Thank you.
