Re: Russian/Ukraine War Discussion Thread II

I don’t get, is there a language differences the way it sounds in Ukrainian and English? Preemptive strike can only mean one thing, period. W/e he had on his mind he said the wrong words and giving the circumstances if it was a North Korea he addressed that to they would probably preemptive striked UA right after he said that

He’s under crazy pressure, probably lack of sleep and all, he could choose the wrong words unintentionally, but then say so and don’t play this damn preemptive sanctions strike. Like it’s going to change the ability of Russia to launch their nuclear arsenal. And instead of saying what I just said, westies trying to play dumb by calling Russia stupid because they interpreted his words wrong

I’m almost certain right after he said that he got a call from some NATO officials whip explained him to avoid this type of saying in the future

Lets be realistic here. If the goal was to "strike fear" into Russian supporters, and he wanted to call NATO to use nuclear weapons, then he would have said so.
Its not hard to say, "nato must use nuclear weapons in its arsenal against russia" or "Nato must organize a preemptive nuclear strike against Russia".
If your intention is to call NATO to use nukes, then you don't forget to use the word "nuclear".

The preemptive strike can be a strike against the energy sector, against the top politicians...against Russian air force....Kerch bridge...who knows.

In any case, my take on this is that his intention was to call NATO to show its cards before russia uses its nukes, not after.

If Putin had known in advance that the Western sanctions are gona be this tough, that the whole energy/banking/high tech industries are cut off. That the whole western world will provide mass-military aid, then maybe the war wouldnt have happened. He would have completed his military exercises and troops would have gone back home. He clearly underestimated the western reaction.
Now, all that nato says about the use of nuclear weapons is "well, the response is going to be serious".
And thats it.
How is that going to persuade the Russian dictator not to use nukes?
From Putins point of view...things can't get much worse...and he doesnt have much to lose.
NATO should remind him that things can get a lot worse, before he starts the nuclear war.

Anyways, we can debate zelensky's words here until cows come home. Only he knows what he meant.

This whole affair reads to me classic alcoholic behavior that is destined to be a failure so one can continue the pity party and have more excuse to drink. They carry on about the Great Patriotic war without paying attention to the fact it was their shite governments over the previous centuries that brought them to that point. No, Duntez I am not saying west is best. It's a complicated cluster fuck all around.

Because we don't have to, they are losing the war on their own. And they aren't as good at soldiering as the japanese. I do hope the US gets to rebuild their economy, they will actually start making some decent cars after this. Imagine one day Lada is as reliable as Toyota.

Re: Russian/Ukraine War Discussion Thread II

In such cases it was impossible for me to read his garbage anymore so I put him on an ignore list. Yet apparently he still kept reading and responding to my posts..

I am happy that this forum has no such users, at least none that I can see nor read any posts of
ME=*Humanist agenda.

Like I said, continually trolling someone you have on ignore is what cowards what teenaged girls who can't handle their emotions do.

It takes zero balls and speaks more about YOU than anything you could ever say about me. What's more, the continued trolling and referring to me vaguely even though you have me on ignore tells me I live rent free in your head.

I approve of counter troll based ignore trolling tactics though.

It's hard to say. He's certainly posturing. But the media is also very good at fear mongering.

Re: Russian/Ukraine War Discussion Thread II

I think if he was going to, he would have done so at Lyman.

After having to backpeddle from Kyiv, then losing Kharkiv, and making a grand production about how all the people, conveniently just his side of the frontline, had fairly voted to become his slaves and give him their property “Sorry guys, war’s over now, we won and this part is ours now, mmmmkay.”

….and, THEN, the Uks managing a rout of yet another significant population and logistics center, if Pootey-Poo was going to pitch nukes, he would have done it to “save” Lyman, and what little dignity he had left.
