Re: Russian/Ukraine War Discussion Thread II
I think US needs EU. Together It’s like having 9 judges out of 10 in your favor, your buddies and together they can pull practically anything on international arena. At the same time IMO US wants to hold EU on a short leash and have a control over them. I still don’t understand how US can employ their law to other sovereign countries forcing them to stop working with w/e country US has a problem with. And if those countries will not accept it, this law allows US to put sanctions on that country… like wtf. Do what I say or else - defunding! |

Re: Russian/Ukraine War Discussion Thread II
This is what real journalism looks like: https://www.rt.com/news/563573-ukrai...ualties-tanks/ Just give all reported ‘facts’. I understand how weird this must be to some people: But anyway. Yeah that is why Nord2 got delayed and why it will get really ugly soon when temperatures drop. I think US civil war could start a world war, but if it goes well, it would mean more EU independence |

Oh Faust, just do not call RT real journalism. Why not searching for real indipendened sources that fits your pro-russian opinions. I think, there should be sites that are not funded with russian money.

Re: Russian/Ukraine War Discussion Thread II
Anytime someone uses something about there political views as the title for their page and makes it the main focus of their personality…it’s hard to accept their statements at face value. “The American Conservative“ sounds like something that should be heavily scrutinized. The same thing could and should be said for “The American Liberal”. Accepting only one political outlook is toxic.

Re: Russian/Ukraine War Discussion Thread II
I am anti-Russia, but the enemy of my enemy is my friend. Anyway, I gave an example as to what real journalism is; they don’t claim a certain number, they just report on multiple conflicting numbers. Your idea of RT probably is that they would never mention any outside numbers which are not Kremlin-approved. Yet they do. Maybe you can argue that they report on the truth often enough, just to win trust so they can spread lies? But yeah, if you are open minded, just pick 1 article from their front page or archive that you believe is a lie, and I promise you that there will be sources collaborating it. I also understand if you don’t want to do this or if you are afraid of ‘losing’ the argument; in this conflict there are no winners either way. people here fight on DR.com, and over there, people get ripped apart by bombs that make no distinction between women or kids or men, even dogs and other animals die. But yeah, arguing about the reasons surrounding it or about news sources is a distraction for me to cope with the horrors of todays world. Look at those motherfuckers in the picture for example: Nobody in the west gives a fuck if they die. Since 2014 they are being killed for wanting to be independent. Now those people believe becoming part of Russia means their kids get to have a life without war. This is how desperate they are, still they try and smile. Anyway, they get destroyed by an artillery strike on a bus stop before Thursday and really, nobody gives a fuck as they are considered the enemy, especially those voting for what they believe, will bring peace to their region |

Yeah, your army becomes an enemy army with the first shells.. that’s what happened in 2014. I still don’t understand why those fuckers Turchinov and Co did not want to negotiate peacefully. Terrorist/separatist tag was given right of the back, like someone really wanted that war to happen.
