Russian Tank After It Was Hit by Javelin ATGM
T-72 drivers sit sandwiched between two massive fuel tanks. A lot of Soviet MBTs have fuel tanks in the sides. If punctured the burning fuel tends to run down into the drivers compartment and autoloader system. The "basket" buys some time for the gunner and commander but the driver often gets roasted.
