It must be incredibly depressing for new Russian soldiers to move into an area, and ALL they see is destroyed Russian equipment, and hundreds of bodies, some skeletal, which indicate that even the Russian Graves Registration units must no longer be operating at all. Every Russian vehicle surrounded by dead and rotting Russian bodies. Surely the Russians are not still proclaiming victory? If the Ukrainians can keep up this pressure, where the Russians can't sleep, can't eat, and can't even go to the bathroom without getting killed, the Russians must be close to collapse. Ukrainian strikes behind the Russian lines would be VERY effective, I think. Especially right now. A Ukrainian Drone unit, dropped 25 miles behind the front lines, with 100 drones, would have a field day exploring, finding command post positions, and then blowing them up and killing all the commanders.

The only problem would be extracting them after their 2 day mission, and getting them home again after they have used all their drones up.

The next day, a pair of Ukrainian air assault brigades—the 82nd and 95th—went on a mission of revenge, deliberately hunting down small units from the 155th Naval Infantry Brigade and taking no prisoners.

The vengeance continues. On Friday, the 95th Air Assault Brigade cornered a 155th Naval Infantry Brigade platoon near the village of Leonidovo in Kursk and dismantled it—reportedly destroying three BTR wheeled armored personnel carriers and killing 30 russians.

“The teleportation of the enemy to Hell took place in a complex way,” the Ukrainian air assault branch explained. A Ukrainian drone damaged the first BTR, making it an easy target for a nearby Ukrainian tank.

After that, one of 95th Air Assault Brigade’s anti-tank specialists—notoriously some of the most bloodthirsty troops on the battlefield of russia’s 32-month wider war on Ukraine destroyed the second BTR with a well-aimed Javelin missile.

The third BTR ran over a mine the 95th Air Assault Brigade’s engineers had placed in its path. “Greetings from the 95th,” the brigade quipped.

The elite 155th Marine Brigade of the russian Pacific Fleet has lost approximately 80% of its forces in Ukraine, the BBC russian Service reported in a film released on Oct. 11.

The brigade, which has been fighting near Vuhledar in Donetsk Oblast since the fall of 2022, has suffered losses of around 2,400 soldiers. This means that out of the initial 3,000 troops, only 600 remain, according to the russian agency Agenstvo News.
