Remember a couple weeks ago, when I mentioned what appeared to be Russian sailors with their striped shirts, showing up in combat in Ukraine?

Russia has just announced that it is sending sailors from the Kuznetsov aircraft carrier to Ukraine to fight as land forces. The Kuznetsov has been out of service for 8 years, and may never be rebuilt and put back into use.

So it looks like Russia IS sending sailors in to fight as ground troops. Good way to wipe out their navy.

2. K-2 unit and their drones targetted enemy trenches and spotted a wounded russian soldier that wanted to surrender so a drone dropped some water, painkillers and a note with instructions. He was rescued by the K-2 under enemy fire when he did surrender. He later told he was there in that trench for a week with barely water available and no help from his comrades.

3. The 33rd separate mechanized brigade with the rather rare French-German MILAN ATGM in action destroying a BMP and a truck.

I told ya that a couple weeks ago. The Kuznetsov herself is another fantastic rabbit hole to go down if you have time. She’s been rotting for years and service aboard her is considered a punishment. The fate of her sisters is also interesting.
