of late i have been in a moral quandary. i have seen no end of vids here in which a gravely inured enemy combatant was finished off. yet Article 41 of Additional Protocol I (1977) of the Geneva convention says that combatants who are hors de combat (fucked) should no longer be considered combatants. i am not saying i disagree with the AFU killing them, i am just thinking about the laws of war.

I believe it's a waste of ammo, don't have a problem with having the invaders die a slow, painful, lonely death. But it could be argued that hastening the inevitable is more humane than prolonging the suffering.

The Ukrainians would probably be more humane if the Russians had been more humane when they invaded. But they basically used tank shells against cars full of refugees, killed little kids and surrendered Ukrainian troops, and now they are reaping the fruits of what they have sown. They could stop this in ONE HOUR, by giving up this stupid invasion. But the Ukrainians will just have to punish them until they finally come to their senses.

It is too bad they can't get a few "Suicide Reels" posted on Russian TV or their version of Facebook, so the Russian people could see what is really going on. The Ukrainian security people should see if they can't get some of these feeds linked in to Russia news broadcasts. I wonder what the Russian citizen's responses would be.
