Ukraine has destroyed a bridge using Himars missiles in russian Glushkovo, Kursk region, over the Seim river, practically cutting off the whole south-western part of Kursk region from the rest of russia.

Glushkovo district, The area south of the Seim River is surrounded on 3 sides, to the south and west by Ukraine and to the east by the Ukrainian army. There are 3 bridges to the north, however the largest one in Glushkovo was destroyed by HIMARS, and the other 2 were damaged.

The damaged bridge to the east is about to be taken by Ukrainian forces. In the border town of Tetkino, the russian army has abandoned the western part of the river, destroying 2 small bridges in the process.

In the next few days this entire area could be liberated by Ukraine, adding more than 700 km2 to the total already liberated in Kursk Oblast.
