Are the Katsaps using some kind of jamming system that prevents the video being sent back in an attempt to stop the drones getting closer?. I hope the question makes sense.

I dont think so. TV antennas are ussualy mounted at the rear of FPV drones. But it just depends where the builder would put it. I assume TV signal from camera is analogue, while RC control signal is digital
