Different ordinance for different tasking.

Drones can drop different stuff or the Kamikaze drone that gets sacrificed to eliminate the threat.
They can carry F1 grenades, to homemade improvised explosive devices, IED's that are usually filled with ball bearings not necessarily to kill on impact but to mame & destroy arteries & bleed out kind of shrapnel effect.
Others can carry RPG Heads, which get detonated via the suicide connector wires that gets crossed over to explode the charge on impact when it creates an arc between the two elements.

There's also a fully packed drone with C4 that is used on larger targets being mechanized hardware that they need plenty of ''Umpf" to mangle the target, they are all relatively small yes, but they can carry different sized munitions & use them accordingly once they have situational awareness to asses what type & how much explosive will eliminate the threat.
You will see that there's plenty of secondary explosions or cook off's especially with tanks & other confined space mechanized equipment with just a grenade being dropped in the hatch, as there's plenty on munitions inside that explode & in some cases, vaporize stuff.
Infantry, are usually delt with by using an explosive of some sort that has plenty of shrapnel with it, ball bearings of different sizes mainly & sometimes that shrapnel will hit some other explosives near or on that threat & yes, you will get a reaction, a secondary, so yes, it's quite amazing the amount of damage one can do with such a small device.
In the end they pack plenty of punch for a small, rather inexpensive tool.
