Ukraine downed a russian A-50U above the sea of Azov. The plane is a new modernized Russian version of the aircraft.

This is an air command post that Russia used for long-range radar detection, control and guidance for strikes on Ukraine with missiles from strategic aviation.

The wreckage of the downed A-50 plane was scattered across villages in the Krasnodar Territory. The plane fell in Labor Armenia, and its wing was found in the neighboring village of Borets Truda.

The cost of such a plane is 350 million dollars.

The first few frames after detonation show a MASSIVE field of dirt being kicked up to the right all the way up to the crest of a small hill. It’s not a uniform field with dirt kicked up by pressure but pocked by larger impacts indicating a precision guided munition with a fragmentation air burst.
