Re: Russian Invasion Ukraine. Day: 705/706/707/708 (Feb 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th)
Yeah, i saw a video about it as well. They showed a close up of the decoy, with real moving radar dish and everything. I think that impact was very close to the frontline, and i doubt Ukraine would place AA that close to the frontline...but who knows. |

Yes, it should, but its not that simple. The question is, what frequency do you need to jam and how exactly. If you create random interference then the software can filter it out. Modern equimpent uses a thing called "frequency hopping" which means that both the sender and receiver will change the singnal frequency N times per second. And just like with a radio station, the enemy may pump alot of energy into jamming a signal range 2 - 2.5 Ghz but it has no effect if the drone jumped to 5Ghz. And then, if the enemy responds by jamming 5Ghz, the drone can jump to 1.9 Ghz. Because of the frequency hopping and wide range of frequencies that the drone could use, the enemy would have to disrupt the entire EM field, which would require alot of energy, compute power and it would in turn disrubt the enemy's own communications. They also want to fly their own drones and radio back to HQ for new orders. |

I guess this device should be against FPV drones only, which might be quite effective. Especially in the final stage of aproach, when FPVs have worse signal because of trees, buildings etc. In that final stage the device has highest effectivnes in jamming the signal. But in last weeks there were FPVs seen with automatic lock on target and tracking for that final aproach, that is always crucial for FPVs. There were also EW devices, that just dont jam the signal, but they also can somehow affect onboard electronics of drones. So, i think, no one really knows how this is effective |

1. After many attempts, it is here. First downed FPV drone by stick 2. Operation of the Delta artillery unit 3. The most effective way to destroy the invaders #dronefpv #artillerymortar #dronedrop |

The first eight minutes of Dennys youtube channel gives a little insite on the water drones that I found interesting.
