Note: any reference to "points-u" or "u-point" is a translation fumble of Tochka-U missiles. Not sure why it translates fine at some points and not others. This is on the list of the common RU/UA terms in the directory.

Everyone saw what 11 ATACMS missiles did to Berdyansk and Luhansk airfields. 24 helicopters destroyed/damaged in one night.

But we need them in large quantities, and here's why:

✅ We had over 700 Tochka-U missiles at the start of the invasion, and we upgraded the rest, bringing the total closer to 1,000.

✅ It was they (+ long-range artillery and MLRS) who destroyed the 60-kilometer Russian columns (as in video 1). And not the mythical Javelin and NLAW.

✅ It was "Points-U" that destroyed several planes at the Millerovo Air Base in Rostov on February 25, 2022 (video 2).

✅ It was "Points-U" that destroyed and damaged 3-4 large amphibious ships in Berdyansk port (video 3).

✅ "U-points" were our saving straw. They saved this country. Kept us alive until HIMARS arrived.

✅ But in about the first 6 months of the war, we used most of the "U-Points" that were in our arsenal. We continued to use them off and on for the next 6 months.

✅ This gives an idea of our needs. As General Budanov said, if we receive 100 long-range missiles, it will not change anything. The war is now moving in a terribly wrong direction.

✅ We need ~1000 rockets to change the dynamics. And the USA has just such a number of the oldest, obsolete, decommissioned M39 missiles.
