H&K GMW or MK19. Looks definetly like 40mm automatic grenade launcher with programmable airburst ammunition exploding downwards into possible cover like trenches.

But its coming in too high imho. Maybe its fired from too far away.

That many new systems being designed & deployed in this theater is crazy as every arms designer has the perfect opportunity to test their stuff out, & in saying that, it definitely looks like some kind of horizontal rapid-fire smart cluster munition that separates upon target acquisition & I'm sure that we will find out soon enough as it is interesting.

Yeah I have no clue wtf this was. This whole country is a gigantic testing ground for NATO weaponry... we're just seeing the tip of the iceberg. Remember those remotely triggered EFP mines from Germany.

My guess is cluster munitions that malfunctioned. Looks like the bomblets were released too high for whatever reason. Maybe missile carrying them ran out of fuel and just opened up then and there.
