My analysis is that they tried to engage a target but with their rockets likely traded for vodka and replaced by wish.com flares... idk, could be wrong. Jokes aside though... really did seem like a lot :O |

I did some googling (not pretending I know this is factual or not) and it appears that if this was an mi-24, they have the potential to be loaded with large cartridges of flares. According to the military intel site: ASO-2V flare dispensers - 3 cartridges on each side of the helicopter. Each cartridge holds 32 flares. Almost 200 flares total per helicopter. Now it makes sense - they're small flares, but it can definitely carry a lot of them. |
