To preface and reiterate a point; these volunteers were not members of the International Legion of the AFU fighting the war. They were aid/humanitarian workers from Canada and Spain who were killed.

"Yesterday there was news that the Russians killed two foreign volunteers from Canada and Spain.

I found some details of the incident in one of the reports from Donbas Frontliner.

- The war is not over. The war is becoming more brutal. Many people die. The war can only end when we provide more support. Everyone who can fight must fight for freedom! - says Ruben Mavik , a volunteer from Germany who received severe burns.

Yesterday at around 10 am, four participants of the "Road of Help" volunteer initiative set out from Sloviansk towards Bakhmut to help civilians. They came under crossfire in the village of Ivanivske, Bakhmut district, Donetsk region.

After they passed Chasiv Yar, their car was fired upon by the Russians. Their car overturned and caught fire from a direct hit.

German medical volunteer Ruben Mavik, Swedish volunteer Johann Mathias Tu, Canadian volunteer Anthony "Tonko" Ignat and Spanish volunteer and director of "Help Road" Emma Igual were in the car.

Ruben and Johann were seriously injured by debris and suffered severe burns. Anthony "Tonko" and Emma Igual are dead.

"Roads of Help" volunteers have been working in Ukraine for 18 months, carrying out numerous evacuations of the civilian population from war zones, delivering humanitarian aid and providing medical evacuation.

- It was painful to watch. He was burnt and in a state of shock, but he still talked about helping Ukrainians.

I wonder what a Stryker would be doing next to a body of water in the open, in fact how can you even tell for certain that there is a vehicle there. The Ukrainians have a lot of opportunity to fool these type of drones when they use cameras of such low quality.
