A burnt $5M Leopard 2A4 tank

I found another view of this tank. The following comes from someone in comments who states that this Leopard likely did it's secondary function of saving it's crew and is recoverable.

"I think the crew likely survived and this vehicle was recovered. No signs of obvious burning around the tank so obviously moved. Missing its tracks, which probably got totalled by the damage. Damage to the storage bin location on the rear of the turret behind the armored ammunition compartment, which obviously didn't detonate. The side panels are open and you can see where batteries are contained look burnt out. Looks like something hit from the rear of the turret or impacted the top part of the rear of the hull and the blast also hit the turret - don't know. Damage to the tracks, radiator, batteries, heating unit and maybe the engine. Either way looks like what they call a "mobility kill" and it's been recovered and the crew likely survived. Just me spitballing but looks like it fulfilled its secondary function: protecting the crew."

Also just a general note that because Ukrainian soldiers are in the second video posted inspecting the damage, there is a probability they will be recovering that Leopard too.

Burnt-out may come across as a death sentence term for a Leopard tank but both of these tanks don't look like $5 million dollar losses to me. But hey, I am just an armchair engineer and proud predominant member of the Ukrainian circle-jerk society. ¡Viva la Ukraine!
