A flagship of the Russian Black Sea fleet has been seriously damaged sunk after Ukraine claimed to have hit it with missiles.

The Kremlin confirmed early this morning that the Moskva, a Slava-class cruiser with approximately 510 sailors, had sustained damage sunk and its entire crew had been evacuated off the port of Odesa.

But the governor of Odesa claimed the ship had been hit by two Neptune anti-ship missiles launched by Ukrainian naval forces last night. The battery was hidden in or around the Ukrainian port city, which has previously been bombarded from the sea by Russia.

Wish there was a way to visualize the actual shrapnel coming off of those mrls hits. Heard stories about how the US ones can take out a grid square per launcher, but it's difficult to image how that is possible since we can't really see the fragmentation occur beyond (usually) large chunks of the the rocket.
