✅ UA tank fire adjusted via drone destroys a RU tank which cooks off and burns down the building it was in

✅ Reportedly footage of the UA 10th Special Guards Brigade shooting down a Russian Su-25, aircraft is visible at impact. Weapon used appears to be a 9K38 Igla.

The information I put in my post was accurate as of the time I posted it.

Dead mercenaries? You mean Wagner? Or are pro-Russians still saying that members of the International Legion of the AFU are actually mercenaries? Rhetorical.

The International Foreign Legion of Ukraine is officially a part of the Ukrainian Military. They sign contracts with the government (like Ukrainian soldiers), it's a volunteer process (like Ukrainian soldiers) and they get paid the same as Ukrainian soldiers get paid, depending on where they go and what they do.

From the International Legion for the defence of Ukraine:

"Q: Do I get paid? How much? Do I get other bonuses?
A: You get the standard pay of a Ukrainian soldier and it varies depending on the conditions of the service. Your payment will be in UAH currency to a local bank account. The approximate amount in USD is the following: $600 behind the frontline, $1200 for service in a dangerous zone, and $3300 for combat deployment. Please note, that those numbers are just an approximation since exchange rates can change and also some roles and units receive additional bonuses. "

"Q: How long is the contract? Can I terminate it?
A: The contract is 3 years long and can be prolonged automatically. Yes, you can terminate it on your own, but not during a combat deployment."

The exact definition of a mercenary is someone hired by a foreign country solely for monetary gain.

"Q: Will I be considered a mercenary or a criminal if I join the Legion?
A: No, you will become a fully legal serviceman of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, just like all other Ukrainians and non-citizens who bravely serve. However, we highly recommend checking with your local laws about your state’s stance towards people who served in other countries’ military.

Q: Do I get compensation in the case of injury or fatality?
A: Yes. Injured soldiers get free medical treatment and a special payout in a case of disability. Families of the fallen soldiers receive a 15 mil UAH compensation, which loosely translates to over $400 000. The close ones of the fallen will have to open a bank account in Ukraine and receive the transfers. Disabled soldiers have tiered payouts which can be found here in Ukrainian: https://shorturl.at/beiGI"

To compare, they are not a private military organization like Wagner or StormZ. Wagner is financed (or was) by the Russian Government, then Prigozhin pays his soldiers in cash. Their contracts are with Prigozhin, not the RF and they are not a part of the Russian Armed Forces, with contracts and direct pay from the Russian government.

I know you and others will keep calling them mercenaries but I wouldn't be able to sleep tonight if I didn't post the above information.

Anyway, I'm still gathering updates on the situation in Kramatorsk and will post when I can.

"In Kramatorsk, the bodies of 8 dead people were found from under the rubble of a destroyed cafe building. Among them are three children, two born in 2008 and 2011.

1️⃣Late afternoon on 28 June local time, a railway station was hit in "Temporarily occupied Yasynuvata, Donetsk region". Unknown what hit it but it is slightly NE of the city of Donetsk and sits in between Andiivka and Mariinka, so there is heavy fighting going on in that region.
