Marines of the 36th brigade shared a farewell video from Mariupol this morning around 5 A.M. to a journalist in Kiev, saying they are devoted to Ukraine till the end. However, no ammunition was delivered to them in the besieged city. They ask to finish the job and fight for victory.

Same incident from a clearer angle. Ukrainian troops sitting on a capture Russian BMP-2 thought the approaching tank, a Russian T-64BV, is one if their own.

Any update on what became of them?

The story sounds suspect, imo. Like a moral booster for the Ukrainians and especially the West (to keep sending money and help to Ukraine).

If it indeed is legit, I hope they made it alive, or died fighting and not executed.
